Quick coverage of what’s currently being tested, toyed with and prepared for release into the 86Nanny feature list.Fuel Cut \ Kill Switch
One of the most important controls if you’re steadily testing your vehicles limits on track or in competition.
Soon the ability to cut fuel to all cylinders via a button press from the 86Nanny will be available. No set date as work is still being refined, but the feature is working and definitely headed to the available feature list soon.
This has been a working project for a few months now. The functionality is working, just the time invested in R&D for this has been cut back. A majority of 86Nanny users are using the device purely for functionality purposes. So, on the priority list bluetooth control isn’t currently at the top but continuing to be developed.
This might seem like a strange feature for the list, but surprisingly it’s a common request. Many people have aftermarket hubs that at the time of install didn’t worry about the horn for the purpose of race cars not needing it. This will fill that void without customers having to reverse any of their previous work.
